Docket / Score card

The Docket score card

A Docket score card is one picture that sums up an SEO audit of a website: the site's score, and how many problems each area of the audit found. The free version of Docket makes one for any site you audit.

A Docket score card for one of our own sites: score 96, grade A, 10 problems found, 4 pages checked, and the number of problems in each of the 13 areas, with the words Audited with Docket and docketseo.app/score-card at the foot.
A score card for kerrandcompanyholdings.com, the company site, from a real audit on 6 November 2026. It is the picture the app saves, not a mockup.

What is on it

That is all. It does not say what the problems are, which pages have them or how to fix them. Whoever makes the card decides what else to share.

How to read it

Start with the grade, then the areas. An area with no problems is one where every check that applies to the site passed. An area with a few is where the work is, and the count tells you how big the job is before you open anything. Two sites with the same score can have very different cards: one with a single area full of problems, one with a small problem in every area. The card is a summary for the people who need the number. The person who will fix the site needs the full report.

Where the score comes from

Docket crawls the site and runs 99 checks across the 13 areas, from indexing and page titles to speed, structured data, security, local search and AI search visibility. The score is for the pages it crawled. What each check looks at is on the page that lists them.

Make your own

Download Docket for a Mac or a 64-bit Windows PC, type a site's address and run the audit. When it finishes, press Save score card. The audit runs on your own computer and there is no account to create.

If someone sent you one

They ran Docket on a site and sent you the picture. You can run the same audit on your own site in a few minutes and see where it stands.

Common questions

Does the card say what is wrong with the site?

No. It says how many problems each area found, and nothing about what they are, which pages have them or how to fix them. A card is safe to post or send: whoever reads it learns the score and where the work is, not the details.

Does saving a card send anything anywhere?

No. The app draws the card on your own computer and saves it where you choose. Nothing about the audit or the card is sent to us or to anyone else. The only address on it is ours, at the foot.

Can I put my own logo on it?

Not on the card. Agencies who want their own name on what a client sees use the white-label reports in the full version of Docket, which carry the agency's name and logo and no mention of Docket.

Why is the score not 100?

The score is the weighted result of the checks that apply to the site, so a site with a few small problems in a few areas scores in the nineties, and one with a blocked homepage scores far lower. The grade is the letter for that score.
